PIFL This Week : Adoh Adoh Ref...

Adoh Adoh Ref.....

Referees and officials have always been playing the guilty party in football nowadays. For example, Phil Dowd was accused of causing Aston Villa losing to Manchester United in the Carling Cup final. It's always been this way in the professional level.
In the PIFL last week, in the Bank Rakyat versus X-Thomian matchup, there was a moment of chaos when supporters and bench players attacked the referee of the match as a protest on the referee's decision. A good referee is invisible and gives acceptable judgement as the match goes on. But a bad referee gives bad verdicts. And bad verdicts yield discontent on the blameworthy. Thus, causing the guilty side to express their anger. In this case, attacking the referee.
In my opinion, the referees and the players should know the objective of this league. Referees should be strict and able to control a match before triggering any unwanted commotion. Besides, players should respect the ref and officials of a match because PIFL is a friendly league. :)
