Matchday 4 Aftermath

Above is the PIFL full fixtures and results from the previous week.

Another matchday has gone by and the walk of PIFL league is nearly reaching the end. Another 4 matches played last week and few controversies were raised during matchup.

Week Recap

Bank Rakyat vs X-Thomian
The war between close rivals ended with a 3-2 victory for Bank Rakyat squadron. The match went perfectly until the match referee made a streak of arguable decisions which led the X-Thomian bench and supporters went into the pitch enraged. Fortunately, the mob was able to be calmed by the players. Bank Rakyat finished the match off in style as they claim the 1st place of the PIFL this week.

Crobox vs SESCO OrEnergy
Crobox FC left stranded at the bottom of PIFL after suffering yet another blow after losing to SESCO OrEnergy 5-3. Great gameplay shown by both sides as the exchange attacks for the first 45 minutes. However, it was in the 2nd half which the Croboxian fell down real hard. The OrEnergy got the best of Crobox defenders and killed the match.

LHDN vs Petra Giants
The LHDNs were able to make the Giants sweating in agony as they compete along in this epic encounter. They were tied 3-3 in the 2nd half until Izway scored for the Giants with an brilliant lob over the LHDN keeper, 4-3. Felix scored another one for the Giants to settle out this encounter.

Masja vs Axis
The Masja squad looks a lot better in this match than they were at the first matchday. They were able to hold off Axis attacking play in the first half. However, as the match was going towards the end, a slight defensive error from Masja central defender costs them from rescuing a point from this matchup. Axis FC won again and currently resides in the 3rd place.
