Matchday 5 : The Throne of Petra (6-7 March)

Matchday 5: The Throne of Petra promises intense neck-to-neck action the race to the finish is far from over. Bank Rakyat leads the pack with 9 points. Followed by Petra Giants and Axis FC differed only by goal differences. Crobox FC is still enthusiastic to get their first point of the league. This week's battle could be decisive for them as another defeat could spell the end of their PIFL journey.

Axis vs Bank Rakyat
This one should be another classic as both teams are battling for the top of PIFL whereas a win could see one of them rule the league after Matchday 5. Bank Rakyat is currently the best team in defensive area with only 6 goals conceded. On the other hand, Axis FC are more menacing since the arrival of their ex-Felda United striker.

Petra Giants vs Crobox
The Giants may won an epic battle against LHDN last week, but Crobox will surely going gung-ho this week as they are desperate for a win in this Matchday. However, Petra Giants are the highest scoring team, period, and Crobox FC currently holds the worst defence conceding 18 goals. On form Giants midfielder, O'ol Abdillah should be a threat to Crobox FC. Can Crobox FC cope with the Giant's ability? Will they steal any point from this week's Matchday.

Orenergy vs Masja FC
SESCO Orenergy is placed just above Masja FC in the PIFL table. The Orange are slowly gaining their form  from their last week's pleasant win against Crobox, 5-3. Masja FC had a good match in Matchday 4 against Axis FC although losing by a one-goal margin, 2-1. The lack of finishing skills at the end of the field was probably the reason why they lose the game. Will Masja FC improvise their attacks or otherwise? Or will the Orange repeat last week's convincing gameplay?

X-Thomian vs LHDN
X-Thomian suffered a heartbreaking lost to Bank Rakyat last week in a controversial head-to-head matchup. X-Thomian clearly having problems handling crosses from the opponent's wingers. LHDN gave Petra Giants a good fight last week. LHDN's capability to utilize counter-attacks should be a headache for X-Thomian's coach. This encounter should be your entertainment this Sunday.
