Matchday 3: The Resurrection (Preview)

Matchday 3 : The Resurrection

Bank Rakyat vs LHDN
20th Feb 2010, Stadium C, 4:30 p.m.
Bank Rakyat will have to bounce back from their wounding defeat against Petra Giants last week as they tackle on-form LHDN FC this Saturday. LHDN is one of two teams which are yet to suffer a defeat. Can Bank Rakyat steer back to championship road?...Or will LHDN continue their tremendous form again in Matchday 3?

Crobox vs Masja FC
20th Feb 2010, Stadium D, 4:30 p.m.
For this matchup, we expect both teams will come out with their best efforts to grab 3 valuable points in search for better ranks in the table. Both teams are ranked at the bottom zone after Matchday 2. As we all know, top 4 will gain place in the Piala Giants. All players from both camps are fit to play for this grand battle.

Petra Giants vs Axis FC
21st Feb 2010, Stadium C, 4:30 p.m.
This matchup would be our own PIFL derby rivalry. These two teams knows each other well. Most players from both camps are from St. Joseph's Secondary School,Kuching. Petra Giants is ranked top of PIFL league after Matchday 2 after a hell-break-loose match against Bank Rakyat. Axis FC suffers their first defeat against SESCO OrEnergy last week to powerful finish. The Giants would definitely want to cement their place at the top of the table...but Axis is not an easy one to pick on...

X- Thomian vs SESCO OrEnergy
21st Feb 2010, Stadium D, 4:30 p.m.
The X- Thomian won in style last week. Key players like Kamal Maderi and Ali Sirat orientated their winning performance last week. Both teams were in good form recently. The PIFL community were awakened by SESCO's win over Axis last week. SESCO OrEnergy put up good attacking ability in Matchday 2. What will happen in Matchday 3?...Without doubt, this PIFL league is far from over.
